水戸京成百貨店での作品展が始まりました。
今回から新しくなった4階アートギャラリーにて、絹の創作布をご覧いただけます。
樹々の葉に育まれた繭から、真綿、糸、そして布へ。
天蚕糸、手紡ぎの絹真綿、絹正糸など、それぞれに異なる表情をもつ糸を組み合わせ、染め、織り重ねた作品をご紹介しています。
光の向きや纏い方によって移ろう、絹の色と質感を、どうぞ会場でお手に取ってご覧ください。

Textile Exhibition at Mito Keisei Department Store
Our textile exhibition has opened at Mito Keisei Department Store.
The exhibition is being held in the newly renovated Art Gallery on the fourth floor, presenting silk textiles.
From cocoons nurtured among the trees to mawata silk, yarn, and cloth.
Each work brings together threads with their own distinct character—including Tensan wild silk, hand-spun mawata silk, and reeled silk—then layers them through dyeing and weaving.
We invite you to experience the colours and textures of silk as they shift gently with the light and the way the cloth is worn.
